Judith: Serena, Nadal, Federer, Björn Borg, Ymer, Mats Wilander, Djokovic, Schwartzman, Thiem, Venus, Naomi, Mirjam Björklund, Victoria Azarenka, Alycia Parks, Tsisipas, Medvedev, Zverev.

Who are your favourites and why?

Vega: Serena and Nadal. Serena I think is cool and I like that she does "come on" and she seems very nice and she likes fashion like me. I like that Nadal plays left handed even though he is right handed. Then he is cool by himself, kind, funny and mischievous.

Judith: Serena because she is popular, trains hard, is very good, kind, funny, and pretty. Nadal because he's also popular, he's kind of like Serena, has the best topspin in the world, he's a very good player, he's nice. Seems very nice and funny. Federer, popular, very good player but I want to see him play more because he's been injured all 2020 so I haven't seen him play much. Looking forward to 2021 when I hope to see him play.

What are you looking forward to at the Australian Open?

Judith: Good matches, unfortunately Federer is not there. Seeing Nadal face Thiem or Djokovic. Seeing Serena face some great player. And then I really hope to see Ymer play.

Vega: I'm looking forward to the final. And Nadal and Serena. And hope Serena wins!

Tennis word/term of the day: Australian Open

The Australian Open is a Grand Slam tennis tournament that takes place at Melbourne Park. This year's edition will be held from 8-21 February 2021. It will be the 109th edition of the Australian Open, the 53rd in the Open Era and the first Grand Slam of the year.

Famous male tennis stars set to compete in 2021 include world number one Novak Djokovic (who will defend last year's AO win), world number two Rafael Nadal, world number one Dominic Thiem, world number one Daniil Medvedev, world number six Stefanos Tsitsipas and world number seven Alexander Zverev. Unfortunately, world number five Roger Federer will not participate in this year's edition due to Covid-19. At the time of writing, Elias Ymer has also qualified for the Australian Open qualifying final.

On the women's side, we will see world number one and Australian Ash Barty, world number two Simona Halep, 2020 US Open winner Naomi Osaka (world number one), last year's Australian Open winner Sofia Kenin (ranked 4), world number five Elina Svitolina, world number six Karolina Pliskova. It will be particularly exciting to follow Serena Williams, who has the opportunity to break Margaret Court's record of 24 Grand Slam singles titles by winning the 2021 Australian Open.
