Donnay Formula 100 Hexa is the top model for Donnay XēneCore Tennis and is an upgrade of the popular Formula Pentacore.
Formula 100 is a racket that is in the same class as Babolat's Pure Drive. They have quite similar specifications such as shape, head size, string pattern, weight and balance. The main difference lies in the frame where the Donnay Formula is based on Hexa Xenecore technology, which means that the racket frame is made of xenecore (1.5 times stronger than graphite) and filled with six layers (hexa) of a vibration-damping material. This provides optimal comfort and playing feel as well as less vibration load on the arm and shoulders.
With the Donnay Formula 100 Hexa, Xenecore Tennis goes the opposite way of most racket producers with a softer racket. The flex (ra) on this racket is 57 which means it is much less stressful on the arm to play with. The standard for rackets in this genre is a flex of +/- 70. The disadvantage of a softer racket is normally less power, but due to the Formula Hexa construction with full core, this racket still provides sufficient power.
